RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Senior GO Developer to join their team.
Summary:
The application itself is built in React/GO and hosted in Google Cloud Platform. At the moment, they have both new feature development on the front end as well as rebuilding resilient APIs on the backend in GO, so they ideally want someone who is strong in both but will look at candidates who are stronger in one over the other (70/30 front end/backend and vice versa). If they are very strong on one end and willing to learn the other, we can also look at that. They need some heavy hitters to come in and contribute immediately but are open to candidates 3-4+ years if they are strong and don't require hand holding. Communication is also very important as this team and its apps manage all communication from external APIs to the systems so there is a large collaboration piece.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-4+ years of GO and/or React
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform
* Experienced with CI/CD pipelines
* Experienced writing unit tests
* Strong problem-solving ability and team collaboration
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
